One year post Op - Still hurts! Anyone have a f/u scope done?
My wife had a TKR a year ago.
She's very active, in good shape and did everything the Dr recommended including pre and post op PT. She has full range of motion, and is plenty strong -- including the ability to play pickleball, bike, walk and hike.
She's had significant, ongoing pain since the operation. Dr has encouraged her to wait a year. Well, the year has come and it's still not better. She has significant crepitus, probably caused by scar tissue per the Dr. The pain is most pronounced at the end of the day. However it often reoccurs randomly when she moves it wrong. Dr is now recommending he scope it to remove scar tissue and look for any other issues. X-rays are normal.
I know this can't and shouldn't be diagnosed here, but I'd like to hear from anyone with similar symptoms and even better someone who has had this resolved.
