Anyone want to practice English through free conversation on Discord?

Hi everyone,

I’m 29M from South Korea, and I’m looking for a few people who want to practice speaking English together on Discord.

I’m around intermediate to intermediate-high level, so I think it would work best with people around a similar level — not complete beginners, but people who can already have basic conversations and want to speak more naturally.

What I’m thinking is a small 4-week thing.

Each person can choose 2 topics or situations they want to get more comfortable talking about, and we’ll use those as the main focus when we talk.

For example, it could be work, studies, hobbies, travel, culture, opinions, daily life, or anything you personally care about.

I’d like to keep it small, maybe 4–6 people max, so everyone actually gets time to talk.

The rough structure would be:

Sunday : free conversation around our chosen topics on Discord
Wednesday: post a short update in Discord with useful expressions, sentences, or anything you want to remember

We can try it for 4 weeks first, and if it feels helpful and people are still showing up, we can keep going.

Please don’t join if you already know you’ll disappear after a week. I’d rather keep it small with people who can actually show up.

If you’re interested, comment or DM me with:

  1. your current English level
  2. whether Sunday works for you
  3. whether you can post a short update on Wednesdays

Thanks!

Hey everyone — I built my first iOS app called Stiky.

I made it because I kept saving articles, links, videos, and notes for later… and then never opening them again.

They weren’t really lost, but they disappeared into folders, bookmarks, or notes apps.

So I tried a different approach:

Instead of saving things only into folders, Stiky lets you save notes, links, or posts to real-world places.

When you’re near that place, the saved thing can resurface again.

Some examples:

- A workout video saved to your gym

- A reading list saved to your favorite cafe

- Travel notes saved to places you want to visit

- A small note or scribble for a friend to unlock there

It’s still early, so I’d love feedback:

Does this feel useful, or is it too niche?
