see these on ebay but i haven’t bought them yet. they were kind of cheaper end but seller accepts returns and was communicative. anyone know if these look legit or not and what to ask to further find out if needed?
2005 Silverado with a 6.0 Vortec. Oil pressure warning came on. Checked pressure at oil prime port and it was 35-40PSI idle. Checked pressure at oil sending unit to roughly 8PSI idle. Changed the engine oil and got shavings which is unfortunate but still gonna try and get this oil issue fixed first. Replaced the filter and pressure only very minorly improved. I blew through the sending unit trying to get air to unclog anything. Not sure what’s up with my engine. Oil pump seems fine. The issue is somewhere between the oil prime port and the sending unit.
Briggs 441777 engine with roughly 450 hours. was wondering if this was bad wear or if it’s regular for a higher running engine. All i can tell is this engine burned oil really badly
