I’m working on an itinerary for 27 nights around Visayas this December.

Flying Taipei to Cebu early December.

Rough plan is 7 nights Malapascua, 2 nights Cebu, then either:

Fly to Dauin (~3hr transit) for 4 nights, then 4 nights (~1.5hr transit) Siquijor, and on to Panglao Bohol (~2.5hr transit) to stay there over Christmas

OR

8 nights Sogod Bay (~4hrs transit) from Cebu, then lastly on to Panglao for 8 nights - approximately a 6.5 hr drive-ferry-drive?

Finally. Fly out from Panglao to Manila…home to Canada.

This is a lot of potential scuba diving/dive resorts, so I prefer to break it up with some other activities - hiking, birds, watersports, wandering, beauty and culture.

The other factor is my dive buddy has a pretty severe astigmatism which limits their enjoyment of macro to a degree - so reefs are preferred. Pretty sure she can see thresher and whale sharks though. 😂

Is there much else to do in the vicinity of Peter’s Dive resort for example?

Puerto Galera and Moalboal were on my radar, but I don’t think the logistics make sense.

Open to suggestions please!

Got in for the Vancouver presale, and the Freedom Mobile Arch seems to be mostly General Admission with only reserved seats in the 400 section, 200 section was greyed out (maybe they remove the seats?). I snagged a ticket and then was booted out - “Limit has been reached for this promotion.”

$131 CAD all in for my GA ticket. Very stoked!!!
