Heartburn medicine in the US

Hi All, I will be travelling to the US for work in the coming weeks and I’m suffering from heartburn daily!

What Over the Counter medicines are pregnancy safe for Heartburn that I can buy in the US and where can I get them?

I’m planning ahead to avoid this panic purchasing or suffering when there!

TIA

Hi All,

I’m having our second baby this year and pondering where to give birth. Our first birth was great and I’m extremely fortunate that it was 12 hours first contraction to birth, only needed Gas & Air and had an episiotomy with vaginal birth. This birth was in a hospital, started in the Midwife Led Unit and was transferred to Delivery Suite by Doctors due to heart rate dipping occasionally on contractions.

Now I’m looking to birthing our second baby and the midwife has suggested the local standalone midwife led unit. I’m looking for others experiences really if you’ve had a similar set up and how it was being in the standalone MLU vs Hospital for second birth.

We are about 30 mins from the hospital should a transfer be needed and that’s my only concern that’s making me dither between the two choices.

Any stories shared I think will just help me gauge an idea on what it looks like would be helpful?

TIA
