Xbox PC app (or game bar?) notifications in wrong language despite every setting set to English

Hi.

During gaming on my Windows 11 PC when I play Xbox Game Pass PC games I get popup notifications when an achievement unlocks (I think coming from Game Bar or maybe from Xbox app idk) and the language is always the one of the country where I live, yet I have every single setting set to English, both locally in Windows 11 and in my Microsoft account.

The only one I can't change is the "Device setup region".

Ironically when I click the notification it redirects me to the achievements in the Xbox app and there they are in English.

Afaik there are no separate language settings in the Xbox app or Game Bar.

This makes me think that it is IP-based. Writing this I'm thinking about trying a VPN to test this hypothesis but I don't want to appear like someone trying to circumvent geo-based restrictions etc.

If anyone has dealt with this issue and/or knows which setting determines the language of these notification popups, I would really appreciate it.

Xbox app game installation downloads ignore delivery optimization download limits in Windows 11 (even after a reboot)

Hi.

I'm new to Gamepass and the Xbox app.

As the title says, I seem to have no way of limiting download speeds of user-initiated game installation processes in the Xbox app in Windows 11.

I don't see the point of paying for a fast internet connection when it does nothing for me most of the time. I'm happy to wait for my downloads but as I'm unable to limit my downloads to say 10MB/s (or roughly 85% of my max download bandwidth) or less, it prevents me from watching streams and browsing while installing/downloading large games on the XBOX app.

I tried percentage and absolute limits in the Delivery Optimizations settings. I tried restarting the PC and also restarting the DO process and Xbox app multiple times.

This is the "Get-DeliveryOptimizationPerfSnap" output while the download is going on. It doesn't even seem to see the ongoing download:

My guess is that the Xbox app is for some reason circumventing the delivery optimizations, possibly because it is a user-initiated download, but would be absurd, right?

I'm pretty sure every other game store nowadays has a way to limit its download speeds. I really hope the Xbox app isn't the only one lacking in this department.

Appreciate any advice.
