A week ago I wrote to my MP (currently in the south West of England) requesting that he engages the Secretary of State for NI, with questions regarding the conditions for triggering a border poll, in line with the Good Friday Agreement.
I would encourage the Irish diaspora in the UK to write their MP's asking for similar clarity. 28 years on from the GFA, Nationalism holds the majority in every level of governance. Yet we have no discussions about a unity referendum. It's time to fulfil the obligations of the agreement and give a date and discuss the details...
