Does anyone have this setup and can confirm if they fit? Looking for a robust/waterproof bag I can toss my enduro tool kit in for more technical rides.
At a bit of a loss. Family member picked up a lightly used 692 recently and has put a few hundred rounds through it. Now it is consistently failing to switch when the bottom barrel is fired first. Never when the top barrel is fired first. I took the stock off and inspected the trigger internals. It was clean and dry. I blew out what little dust was in there, took a careful look at the inertia block and triggers/sears and didn’t find any burrs or rough areas. I lightly lubed some of the pivoting and sliding parts and reassembled. Symptoms persist.
Any thoughts on why this is happening? Shooter is a relatively large and fit individual, shooting 1-1/8 1200’s. A lack of recoil or bad mount should be more inconsistent and happening with both barrels, I’d think. I have been able to replicate the symptoms, so that tends to rule out the shooter (but I’ve also had occasional failures to switch on my other Beretta 688 & 694 O/U’s).
