I’m pretty sure 1998s “Almost Hero’s” is getting mixed up in this memory, so maybe it was from around the same time.

All I can remember: The time period was 1700/1800s. A writer (I think) travels somewhere and ends up learning to shoot guns and I believe enters a shooting competition? Does this sound familiar?

I’ve been using Jabra earbuds since about 2015. They were the only earbuds I found that stayed in my ear and actually lasted more than a few months. I’ve had at least 4 different models and all were great.

Fast forward to a few days ago…I lost my right earbud. I knew Jabra was long longer available and did a quick a search and from what I saw the consensus was that BOSE quietcomfort would be an upgrade over Jabra anyway so I ran to the local Walmart and bought a pair. I haven’t used them enough to comment on their durability, they may be great earbuds, but I don’t think they’re right for me..and I think there are probably much cheaper options I could go with.

Things I need:

Earbuds that actually stay in my ear

I need to be able to use each bud independently.

I need at least 1 earbud to have a button that allows me to turn it off without having the case near.

My biggest issue is they won’t stay in my ear, and my 2nd biggest issue is there’s no button to turn them off without the case. Also, is there any way to turn off the voice that alerts me about battery life? It’s woke me up from sleep twice

Can anyone tell me a good durable earbud that is similar to jabra? I can definitely still find jabras online and I think that’s what I’ll be doing but I’m open to any suggestions.
