Rumor has it that the largest suite at the Feinting Swordsman in the port city of Blustrom is haunted. You placed little credence in rumors that this room is haunted, until you arrived at the Feinting Swordsman and found that the inn was full and the last room, your room, is that haunted suite!

The game is first person role playing, good aligned heroes (not villains), with limited/no out of character, and is a touch on the grittier side. I have 40+ years of xp as a GM but this would be a great game for beginners. This is a one shot set in the same world as my twice monthly Friday evening game. I'm using this one shot as an opportunity for you to try out my GMing style before committing to a longer game.

Game will be 5e and not using most 2024 rules as of yet. All previously published official WotC classes are available but the game only has the SRD loaded (so anything you don't have access to will need to be programmed into Roll20 before the start of the game). All characters must be created inside the game. We are starting at level 1 using standard array (15,14,13,12,10,8; +2/+1 decoupled as per Tasha's).

We will be using video as it greatly enhances the roleplay.

I'm running a mini campaign set in the Dragonlance area of Ravenloft (no knowledge of either is needed to play). The game will run in conjunction w/ the new D&D Live Play (same area of Ravenloft but different story/time period). Ravenloft is a horror setting so their will be horror themes and situations. Players could easily play local residents (Human, Elf, Half-elf) of the starting village or we could figure out a way to introduce other species.
