HELP PLEASE: DMP - The reality of a 34 year old who is sinking on £2000 minimum monthly with £19000 left

Hi there, I'm slightly lost in this situation, I'm 34 years old, been fighting not going on a DMP for nearly two years. It might be taking a toll on me. I wanted to get a mortgage by age 37 and fighting defaults to save my life. AMEX, Zopa Loans, Barclay Finance, Lloyds CC, Halifax CC and Capital CC - all equating £2000 and now I have reduced hours at work. Started working Uber to keep me afloat. Should I try my best to clear this in the next year so I have a chance at a mortgage. I'm doing 60 hour weeks combined, and managing to make like £3000 - 2 goes on minimum payments, and £1000 on rent. I've been eating at families. My question is, am I doing the right thing by trying to get on top this and working eating and breathing clearing this debt in hopes that I am in a stronger position at not ruining my credit and mortgage and financial chances in the future or was I better off on a DMP and depleting all lines of credit till 40 years old? Any advice would be appreciated. Started to see the grey hairs coming in and I ain't even married with no kids. What a time to be alive ay'
