Limit is 100 Blasters?

Limit is 100 Blasters?

The link has been live all day and they are offering a limit of 100? They printing this set to edge of the known universe or what? Did they not have distributors for this product and are testing a release 100% on the web?

What is going on?

TLDR; Last Sunday I posted this in here https://www.reddit.com/r/whatnotapp/s/17wIoIcofj explaining to y'all that I bought everything to stream and was putting it off and requested some shame/encouragement to take the leap.

I am pleased to report that I did and it has gone extremely well! It wouldn't have been possible without everyone's help, I am blown away by this community, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

You guys are an amazing group of people, my first week was a huge success and I had $2919 worth of sales over 4 shows. I screwed up shipping and I bumped my head a lot along the way. If you want any kind of help, please don't hesitate to message me or comment, and I will gladly do what I can to help!

One of the people who helped me a ton is the whatnot user @hazeyco. He has been streaming for two weeks, and I want to pay forward some of the help I have received and try to encourage him some! Please consider hopping in his stream or following and bookmarking his shows, he is live now as I type this, go say hello! He lives in New Orleans, and we have already talked about getting together a few people and meeting up to hang and maybe do some gambling at a proper casino.

.

I filled with gratitude for all of your help!! From a simple comment of encouragement all the way to people who never did a sports break buying from me and sharing my show, you guys responded to me in a way I never could have expected. I made some awesome friends this week, and have excellent momentum going into next week.

The post blew up, I received a ton of help in DMs and in the comments, and I spammed the comments when I went live with show links (usually requested but not always). I got banned by a bunch of subs unrelated to this one for being a bot because of it, so I will not be using this approach any longer. Sorry if I bothered any of you by that, and thank you to all the people that popped in the show from those links!

Show reports:

For my first show, I was a mess, and didn't do hardly anything the right way. I had my computer setup out of reach, didn't use the break feature, didn't know how to organize myself in general, but I had a couple of volunteers that were MODs for me that were a Godsend. They paid attention and messaged me constantly with advice on little things I could improve on, and they stayed active for hours keeping me company and helping me not to lose my mind more than I already felt like I was inside.

I started my bids at $1, and gave away pretty big things, packs of cards/small boxes, so I lost a little bit of money on my first stream. That was expected but I was thrilled with the overall outcome!

My second show was a resounding success. I had a few people actively bidding on my $1 starts, and by the end of the night sold about $1700 worth of product and breaks! One person spent about $1000 himself, because he stayed after and bought a bunch of my inventory for himself and we had fun and pulled him a bunch of nice cards! I also felt a lot better this stream and things moved a lot smoother.

My third show was also amazing, I did one break, no sales afterwards, and did over $1000 again!! Ran $25 boost and brought in some buyers that helped out a lot. Got a little smoother again as I have improved little things along the way.

Fourth show was a step backwards in some ways, but also a great outcome in others. I have consistently started my bids at $1, which I may reconsider going forward, and I didn't spam the comments this time, or even DM the people I had been prior to the show. I just went live and ended up losing $150 or so in total, including the giveaways.

BUT... I had a big number of new buyers, so it gives me an opportunity to connect with more people. Also, a lot of big cards came for them, and it makes me happy that so many people ended up with a successful break. I learned the importance of prepping my shows beforehand, and making sure people are aware that I'm going live.

.

Overall I am extremely encouraged by how this week has gone, and I have a lot of plans for improving my show and reaching new people. My focus is on streaming every day if I can pull that off, but there are some challenges to work out to make that possible. One big one is finding the product that people want to break, and also organizing myself further so I can ship this stuff and keep everything together without getting too far behind. I have to go ship everything right now as I got behind for a number of reasons. Going forward I will be shipping everything out the next day, and two days at the maximum if something comes up.

I plan on creating a discord channel for the group I've connected with and for any other whatnot sellers that are honest and trustworthy, so we can better coordinate with each other to support each other's shows, learn how to use the app/website, and share ideas on how to do better. I do not have much to teach yet, but I can be a positive force for people trying to learn, and help them skip some of the headaches in their first week that I dealt with.

If you are interested at all in that, please comment below or message me, and I'll connect with you so we can all help each other even more. Also, if you have a channel I would love to follow you and come see what you're up to, and buy something from you if it is reasonably in the budget.

If you are someone that shouts at their viewers, lies about the value of stuff, or otherwise scams or misleads people, please save us the time and do not bother trying to connect with me. I will not be kind to you and I will report you and encourage everyone else to do the same, so it isn't a good idea anyway. I won't report you for badgering your viewers but for any form of scamming I certainly will. Point is, if you do things honestly, please connect with me as I would love to learn from watching your stream and to do whatever I can to help.

Please consider following and supporting @hazeyco on whatnot https://whatnot.com/s/bXsRhkdI he has helped me every day and is a new streamer himself.

I am leaving a lot out of my overview here, but the point is if you are thinking about jumping, do it! I am here to help if I can, and there evidently are plenty of people willing to do the same.

Here is the link to my next show for tomorrow if you are interested.

I do sports breaks, and have a lot of pokemon and other TCG things as well. Let me know what youd want to see in a break or in card sales in general if you're into that kind of thing.

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!! ❤️

I bought the lights, a table, the inventory (sports cards), did enough research, but it has been two or three days and I haven't gone live.

I don't even know what I'm worried about. I don't need to make money on my breaks, nor am I expecting to, I just need to get the ball rolling and get some return to buy more inventory. I have plenty of it to start with.

I posted this so I can snap out of my own head and hopefully some public pressure / shame / encouragement might help break this pattern and I just do it after I wake up tomorrow (later today to you likely).

I appreciate this board too, I've lurked for a bit and you guys have been very helpful. Thanks in advance for any feedback or shame you may have to throw my way.

(Originally posted this during the week and was told to repost today. I am concerned I will screw something up but I am grabbing my computer rn and am going to login and see what I can figure out.)

A few questions I have at this very moment.

  1. I bought this table and it is hard, along with this tablecloth. I feel like I should tape/clamp this thing right, and possibly put some kind of padding underneath. People use mats right? Is that the better way to go?

  2. Anyone have good advice on how to organize cards for breaks as I open the packs?

I have plenty more but these are the ones in top of mind at the moment.
