Making Your Own Gaffs - Dry Mount Tissue or Replacement in Europe?
Hello! I am currently experimenting with making my own gaff cards....
Or at least I would be, but the advice I found online from sources like The Gaff Factory talk about using Dry Mounting Tissue sheets to reattach split cards together and sourcing this stuff has been a nightmare.
It seems in the US there are photography type shops that sell this stuff in packs of 25 or 100 sheets, ideal for small batches. Postage costs across the Atlantic are prohibitive so I've been trying to find a local seller.
However I can't find a legit seller in the EUK/EU for it in small quantities. I can find places selling it more professional quantities - as in 46m rolls, which you will appreciate seems a bit overkill.
Does anyone have experiencing ordering Dry Mounting Tissue from any UK/EU stockists? Alternatively, can anyone recommend an alternative material to use as the middle layer to create one's own gaff cards that might be easier to locate?
