want to do a braid out but don’t want to have to wait until night to do it, and morning for it to dry. is it a must?

I want to preface this by saying I don’t think that my dad is necessarily a creep.I feel like he doesn’t think about what he says before he says it. My dad says weird things about how he can’t do and won’t do life without me, puts me on a weird pedestal (i’m the youngest of 4 so maybe that’s why?) and just recently he asked me if i wanted to his and hers matching shoes which was just weird af. he also calls me “booty” which is just weird af and makes me uncomfortable but i think he’d act taken aback if i brought it up. I know these are very minor but it’s just weird, he even say he doesn’t wanna eat or cook if im not eating . One time he even didn’t go hang out with his adult male friend just because i said i didn’t want to go with him to said friends house.
