See lots of comments about how slow it is crossing by road into Montenegro from Croatia and recommending going by ferry or cruise

Is there no passport check if you come by boat? Or do you have to dock and enter via a specific place for passport check?

Builder who is doing a kitchen renovation, value $25k, claims that it requires DBI costing $1600 because it's "structural" but it's only demolishing kitcnen and new cabinet work and rearranging in the same footprint

They are asking me to pay for home owners warranty insurance

Is this the same as DBI?

The builder says "we are fully insured, each project gets a separate policy and certificate and the owner pays"

All the references I find, including building commission and consumer affairs sites are very clear the builder is to obtain the insurance for each project "on behalf of the client" but are silent on who pays for it

My assumption has been it's built into their costs, the contract references VMIA but doesn't say anything specific about a separate cost for a policy
