I have been wondering why so many people use the driver/cockpit view that shows the wheel and driver instead of the dashboard view that many Sims have.

I get that unless you have tripple 55" getting a realistic pov is a stretch, but the 2 wheels moving always distracts me.

In Sims that don't have a dash view, I choose to lock the wheel / hands. Even for when I play on controller I use the dash view to not get distracted by the moving wheel.

I get for people that record or stream, the audience would want to see the wheel move, but that should be a small set it people.

Thoughts?
