Nozzle hits infill

Pretty much what the title says. Details below:

Bambu Lab A1
Dry filament
Gyroid infill
Reduce infill retraction: unchecked
Slicer: Orca Sliver

Filament: Bambu Lab PLA Lite (I’ve dried it today), printing @ 220.

Yes, it’s not the stock build plate but it happens with that one too (both are clean). It happens at random, or I couldn’t determine a pattern; most layers would print ok and next thing I know it starts sounding like that. All three axis have been lubricated and their belts tensioned. I did tram the bed a few days ago but it keeps happening.

Could it be flow, PA, retraction or Z-hop? Something else? The printer is calibrated and bed calibration is always enabled. One thing I noticed is that it seems to extrude more at the beginning of each layer and flow will be my next thing to check after this print ends. Any thoughts on what to look for?

Issues with Ironing

I’m having issues while trying to iron my top layers, the surface looks messed up as you can see in the pictures.

Details:

Printer: Bambu Lab A1
Filament: Generic PLA High Speed
Slicer: Orca Slicer

What I’ve tried:

Re-calibrated and washed my plate.

I initially thought it had to do with the filament I was using, the aqua colored one in the last picture. It was giving me all kinds of trouble besides this one, mainly oozing, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. It is dry as well.

I printed a temperature tower just in case and my ideal temp for this filament is 220, the one set by default in the slicer.

Adjusted Z hop to 0.8 (default 0.4) in hopes that it would resolve it with no luck.

One thing to notice is that sometimes the nozzle would hit the last layer it printed.

A few of my first ironed prints ended looking well, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

I’m thinking this could be caused by weak supports? However I’m guessing it would affect the outer walls mainly and not the solid middle section.

I could augment flow but I’m thinking it could cause more oozing problems, specially with the aqua filament.
