Heavy shed 6 months into taking dutasteride
I had been taking fin for almost a year with no significant results then I tried to switch to dutasteride.
I take dutasteride 0.5 mg every other day. it’s been more than 6 months now. At first when switching I was taking fin every other day then it got to every 4 days and now I still take fin every 10 days. I’ll probably just not use fin anymore.
my results were great up until like 10 days ago when I started shedding heavily. I’m not quite sure what’s the cause of it. Is it that now I take fin less often so it’s because of that? is it that dut is not working anymore for me?
i shed both fine and thick hair. and my temples where I had recent growth seems less full now. so like the new hair which was there is falling too and that concerns me. because this is not my old fine hair but the hair I grew more recently.
before taking any dht inhibitors, I had experienced this. I was only using min and after 7 months I lost all the results! I’m just afraid it will turn like that again.
also I’ve been using this hair mask for the last 2 weeks. I’m not sure if that can contribute to such a big shed.
