Need support in my hair journey

Need support in my hair journey

Hi all I am looking for advice on what methods to use to help hair growth that do not involve minoxidil pills (i just

think side effects are not worth it)

Important info:

35 female with fine hair experiencing diffuse hair loss and scraggly ends (see picture). Not major crazy hair loss just over time getting thinner and thinner. My grandmother who raised me has fine hair still has hair but its very thin and and extremely scraggly too. I see this and fear that will be my future.

I have hashiomotos hypothyroidism but my "levels are normal" 🙄(iykyk)

My ferritin is low around 16 last labs I had and am taking iron supplements idk if its increased (I read it needs to be above 30 to be able to support hair growth)

I used topical minoxidil but struggled to keep up with it no new growth hair grew faster though I gave up after 8 months

Ive tried 2 peptides brand and rosemary oil over the years it doesnt seem to do much but I also suck at consistency

I've been on spironolactone for acne (50mg? I think) it worked but made my periods unbearable so I can't use it unless for hair its at a significantlylower dose.

Should I look into laser treatments or what? What options do I have that REALLY work? Anyone have a similar profile to me figure out how to get long healthy growth?

Thanks!

Context: 35 F diagnosed with Billiary Dyskinesia ejection fraction of 19% fell from 21% a few years ago when I decided not to have surgery yet and treat it holistically but it didnt work. 5 years of mild to moderate chronic URQ pain.

I had mine removed today and while I dont respond well too Opiods (cant handle the nausea/aide effects well Im extremely sensitive and also allergic to Codeine). The initial pain right after surgery was so minimal. I slept for about 4 more hours woke up ate a healthy zero fat chicken meal my boyfriend made. I was even up and walking around.

Problems began at bedtime. My bed is high and getting into it was a bit hard. Ive also had to pee like so much its crazy. So right after peeing I looked at incisions and got freaked out and cried a bit because I have awful anxiety. I took prescribed muscle relaxer and around 800 mg of Tylenol. I woke up 2 1/2 hours later needing to pee again. I tried to get up but experienced literally the worst muscular?/sharp "stitch" like pain in my side body where incisions are. I couldnt get up out of bed without help and it was extremely painful. Going to the bathroom sitting/standing/shuffling were also sooooo bad i burst into tears which made it worse. Getting back into bed was a no go even with boyfriends assistance. So we moved to couch. He made himself a bed out here too so he can be nearby if needed (he is so sweet) but I dont want to bother him further given that he has to work for 2 hours tomorrow and then all day friday. Im not working until Monday.

Anyway... has anyone experienced similar issues. I read on here someone was concerned they could give themselves a hernia? Is that true? Is that what I did because I was too confident immediately post surgery.

Im using a wedge pillow but unfortunately have slide down a bit and am uncomfortable I cant seem to readjust myself without triggering that 8 to 10 pain. Even typing this now is causing minor core engagement thatcreates some sensation. The doctor said he would call me tomorrow. Should I wait until then or wake the bf up to see if there is an all hours phone call line? Idk. Any shared experience or wisdom would be so appreciated
