Sorry for the unexpected length! TLDR: got some of those bubble type blisters from not playing for a little then returning, is there anything I can do to be able to play normally by this Friday?

Hi! I'm in a band (in HS) and I'm the bassist. over the past year and a half of doing so I have become pretty prolific at playing bass (was a self taught converted guitarist), however I still haven't gotten around to buying a bass. Hasn't been too much of a problem; I practice on my guitar at home and use either the guitarist's or drummer's bass during rehearsals. That was until this past Saturday.

We had been having trouble having a rehearsal for a while because of scheduling issues, and so I hadn't played bass for a couple weeks. During the Saturday rehearsal I occasionally felt my index and middle fingers (right hand) hurting a little but nothing too bad so I kept playing, figuring I just had to rebuild calices (calouses? IDK) like usual.

All of a sudden, only a few hours later, I had developed huge white orbs on the tips of both fingers that felt as though they were bursting at the seams! On Sunday (we had another practice since we have a gig this upcoming Friday) I could play okay with a pick (ik, it's cursed, but what else can I do?) but still no luck with the fingers.

By now they've deflated and it mostly just feels like some weird tiny annoying pockets that don't even hurt but just make it essentially impossible to play properly. Is there anything I can do in order to be able to play by Friday? Please Help! There's one song where I can't play it with a pick and I'm kind of freaking out lol.

In all seriousness, this is just a school gig so it's not that big of a deal if I have to fake my way through that one song haha. Just wondering if anyone had any advice? Thanks.
