Double sleeving tips

I'm a Yugioh player who recently got back into the game after several years away. I've built a few decks to play casually with friends, and I'd like to get some opinions on double sleeving.
What setup would you recommend: inner sleeve + regular sleeve or regular sleeve + outer sleeve?
I own both options (the outers are Japanese-size Dragon Shield sleeves, while the inner sleeves and regular monochrome sleeves are cheap ones I bought from AliExpress. I know they're not the highest quality, but they're acid-free and don't contain any harmful materials).
I've tested both configurations. In terms of feel, I prefer inner sleeve + regular sleeve, mainly because the deck is less bulky and easier to shuffle. However, I really dislike the fact that some air always seems to remain trapped inside. Even if I leave the deck under heavy books for a full day, a bit of air eventually finds its way back in after a while.
I'd also like to mention that I'm definitely in favor of double sleeving. Even though most of my cards aren't particularly expensive, I'd still like to keep them in the best possible condition and prevent wear over time.
What are your experiences and recommendations?
