Nobody talks about how dangerous the growth phase of a business can be

Nobody talks about how dangerous the growth phase of a business can be

I think one of the hardest parts of entrepreneurship is surviving the “growth phase.”
Nobody really talks about this part.
Your business starts growing…
but suddenly you also have:
bigger payroll
delayed customer payments
production mistakes
stress
suppliers waiting
higher expenses
constant pressure
Meanwhile your real life bills don’t stop:
rent, school, gas, electricity, food, family expenses.
I’ve seen good businesses die not because the product was bad…
but because cash flow disappeared before the business became stable.
Honestly, I now understand why so many entrepreneurs try to keep:
a second income,
recurring revenue,
rental income,
side businesses,
or a strong cash reserve.
Sometimes the “small” business paying daily expenses is the only reason the bigger vision survives.
Did any of you go through that phase?
What helped you survive it?
