Beetroots - 20x30cm oil painting on canvas

I love everything about this painting, the sunlight, the composition, the tangled roots and those gorgeous colours! Even the piece of rope feels like it belongs there 😁 It was such a fun one to paint**!**

Still Here - 30x30 oil painting on canvas

I keep painting lemons. For some reason they are coming back onto my canvas again and again 😁

These are on my grandmother’s kitchen towel and I love the idea that they are placed on something that already has its own life 😊

Somehow it feels like the opposite of how everything else is moving right now ✨

The Onion - 15x20cm oil painting on canvas

The more ordinary objects I paint, the more I realise nothing is actually ordinary.
I keep thinking about this while painting lately. Everything is art. Everything can be beautiful if you really look at it 🥹
And now I feel surrounded by subjects to paint. I genuinely don’t know where to jump next 😁

I haven’t painted flowers in a long time and I forgot how much I enjoy it 😊 And the title actually came by accident. Just a typo at first (I meant to write “sunflower”), but this version felt so much better so it stayed 😁

Everything is art.

The way you drink your coffee in the morning.

The crust on your croissant.

Your grandma’s tablecloth.

Morning light on your face.

Your smile.

Everything is art ❤️
