As a parent, what resources do you use to teach your kids where babies come from, etc?

My son is going to be getting public school sex ed next year, and I'm sure getting an earful from the other boys, and I want him to be prepared ahead of time. He knows basically what sex is, but nothing about not touching yourself, avoiding p***, etc.

The big complication is that I cannot buy or subscribe to any resources: my husband believes Catholics are idolators and won't allow anything Catholic in the house.

Edit: There are two problems I am running into: 1. I am a woman, and have zero experience with most of what I am going to be trying to explain. HOW are boys supposed to avoid problematic content online? HOW do they avoid lusting after women? What do they practically do when they feel tempted? I don't know the answer to any of these things, but my son needs to.

  1. I am not even through OCIA yet, so I can't exactly cite the CCC chapter and verse, or really organically explain on my own why not to use contraception, or why non-procreative sex is wrong.
