Hey everyone,

I recently started a new dark channel focused on edited ranking-style YouTube Shorts (Top 5 robot moments, funny clips, etc.).

At first, things were actually going pretty well:

• a few Shorts got around 2k views
• one reached almost 9k views
• I even gained a few subscribers

But suddenly everything completely stopped.

Now every new Short I upload gets literally 0 views, even after many hours or the next day. What’s even stranger is that my older Shorts also stopped getting views almost completely.

The videos are edited with captions, cuts, effects, music, pacing, and different clips — not just raw reposts.

At first I thought some videos simply performed badly because I was testing different content types (robots, PC clips, animals, etc.) to see what the algorithm responded to best.

But now it feels like ALL new uploads stopped getting impressions entirely, regardless of the topic.

I’m wondering if:

• the algorithm flagged the channel somehow
• this is the “0 views Shorts cage” people talk about
• or if YouTube temporarily stopped testing my content

Has this happened to anyone else before?
Did your channel eventually recover?

Any advice would help a lot.
