Found footage horror film: intentional clipping, fine?

Trying to recreate something similar to the Kane Parsons first backrooms video where the monster has this crazy loud distorted screech that honestly sounds like clipping.

I'm trying different distortion effects but nothing sounds close to that, until I actually just drive it into the red.

I make music so I've always avoided clipping like the plague, but for VHS found footage horror where the audio is supposed to be bad, would clipping not be a good idea here?

Double tracking vocals, like the grunge greats

Some questions:

- Is it fine to bus the two vocal takes and apply compression only on the bus?
Or would it normally be done on the two individual tracks, then perhaps also on the bus?

- Are they most often both panned center? Or 20 or so to the sides?

- Bonus unrelated question:
Do you guys think there's a risk to posting your early mixes before release on this and other subreddits with an increasing amount of musicians being stolen from by AI sloppers

14 streams per listener and nearly 1000 streams over a couple days.

I've never paid or applied to be on any playlists or anything. Afraid to get banned if Spotify thinks it's me. Spotify for artists support seems to only be AI?

I have UC, Rhinitis/polyps and asthma. All started around the same time in my 20's.

The way it's mostly hurting me is no smell, voice problems (mucus etc) affecting my job and singing. I wanna go nuclear on these issues after so many years and read about Dupixent.

But I also read that it can be risky for people with UC. Anyone been on Dupixent here or know anything about it?
