Fanatec DD1 + Endurance Module wheel (?) response loss + more
Hello! I have a Fanatec DD1 and primarily use the "Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R", wheel. It's the one that has the endurance button module and advanced paddle module. I've been running into intermittent issues where the wheel will do the things in the video attached.
- It stops responding for a moment, then comes back (no USB disconnect noise etc).
- It will randomly do a full on spaz like the Spa video shows.
- It has also went full lock left for a split second, then goes back to where it was.
I'm also testing with a "ClubSport Steering Wheel BMW M3 GT2" wheel that my brother has, which I haven't encountered any issues with it (yet), but it's super random when the issues occur.
I'm wanting to see if anyone has run into similar issues, and if there were any magic fixes for it, be it firmware or something along those lines. I'm going back to the BMW wheel for testing, but I miss all the buttons on the Porsche wheel, haha.
If it matters, the DD1 and Porsche wheel are around 5 years old and purchased 3rd party, so pretty sure I'm SOL on warranty.
