Do Japanese have play dates in The Inaka
I have lived in Japan for years (in The Inaka) and my son was never invited into anyone’s house ever. Not a birthday not a dinner nothing. My wife says this is the way Japanese are.
Context: We are LOVED in Japan and I adore Japan. This is not an attempt to attack the Japanese at all. I just secretly and quietly think that my son and myself are……admired but not embraced.
As you know the Japanese are the nicest people EVER. I just wonder if I am being naive. Is there quite disgust? My son is half black smart kind ‘normal’ etc.
Japanese! Be straight with me. What is the general take away.
