Alocasia with pests?

Recently I purchase this Alocasia Nobilis online and it came (etiolated, I know 😂) with this white little hairs. It been in quarantine getting good light. I did clean them up with water and a few drops of detergent but everyday I check and the are little white spots which I can remove really easy. Are these meanly bugs? How do I get rid of them?

So I've been trying different methods on propagating pothos. I just came back from a 3 day trip and noticed some mould (most likely) on the soil. What should I do about it?

Soil mix: 1 peat, 1 perlite, 1 CRH (carbonized rice husk)

It's been sitting inside the box and I open it everyday, just left closed while I was out of town
