Starting off, looking for tips!

Hi,

Last year I converted my shed over to solar. It's currently running 2 100W Renology panels through a LiPo MTTP into a 1k inverter into a AGM battery. It works... okay... the inverter eats up so much power but I couldn't run off 12v, and didn't want to invest in a second battery to run 24v because I realized I wanted to convert the system over to the house and run a house battery and convert some of my fuses onto it. I'm looking to convert over piecemeal, starting with 4 100w solar panels charging some sort of battery system to run my computer room for right now and then slowly building it up over time to eventually run the well and house plugs.

So here is my question. Am I insane? Should I build a battery bank or buy a battery station or I have seen some people on here do EV batteries (but I'm a little worried I'm out of my depths there)? Are the 100W worth putting up or are they too small and I need to start over from scratch? Very open to any suggestions.

Roof is south facing and has full day sun. I don't know what else you would need to know but will update.
