Offering: English (East Midlands) | Seeking: Arabic (الفُصْحى المعاصِرة)

Hello! I am a 14m British child who is trying to learn Arabic to communicate with some friends in their native language, as well as reading recreational literature and news articles. As I am now, I know exceedingly little Arabic (I can barely form a very short sentence, sometimes not even that), and struggle to concentrate on teaching books, although I do learn from them when I can, which is rarely. I am good with English, though, and I would be more than happy to help you with your learning if you’d help me with mine.

Let me know if you’d consider it. Thanks!

Would it be okay for a seeing person to write a story from the perspective of a blind person?

Would it be a faux pas for a seeing person to write a story from the perspective of a blind person? I had the idea for a story, and one of the ideas for a point-of-view protagonist was a blind person. I wasn’t sure if that’d be a bad thing to do or if it’d be okay, and it’d definitely be better to ask and learn than write something I shouldn’t or not write something that would be good.

Any answer would be greatly appreciated!
