I re-watched this clip recently and it still hits me right in the gut.

I've always been a huge fan of Iwata. His influence gave us the DS, the Wii, the 3DS, the Wii U and the Switch. His vision for hardware and "play" was/is unmatched in my opinion.

The Satora Iwata + Reggie Fils-Aimé combo was a magical era of Nintendo. It was the era of Jim Henson Star Fox Puppets. I mean, damn.

I started thinking about this because the new Star Fox trailer reminded me of those puppets and down the youtube-nostalgia-rabbit-hole I went.

Kinda makes me wish they had leaned into the puppet look/vibe for this newest remake.

Last year, I made & posted these PSP themes. Since then I've had a few people message me about how I made them/where I got the assets. I made the assets - the memory card, PocketStation & camera icons are shrunk down iPhone photos of my actual stuff. The rest is stuff I cobbled together in Photoshop.

Anyway, here are all the raw assets for each theme I made.

I used this program to make the themes. The assets I posted are already in the correct folder structure/file format/naming convention.

So, if you wanna make your own theme and use any of these assets, have at it and have fun!
