Best Account for Two Separate Home Owners to Save for New Home?
Hi,
Me and the girlfriend are looking to save together, each depositing x amount (around 2-300 each) to put towards a joint home. We both currently own our respective homes and due to us both having 2 pets each, and 2 bed flats each, moving in together probably isn't the most beneficial plan without some sacrifices.
Ideally, she reckons once we obtain x amount of funds she would quite happily sell her place, which is worth substantially more than mine as it's in the city (and more of the mortgage is paid off) and I'd keep mine to rent out (that's the plan).
However I'm not sure which branch or account would be best opened for such a scenario. We both bank with the same branch but I would assume there's better options out there.
