Unable to work and contribute to NHS Pension Scheme. I can't figure out what my benefits would be when I retire given the contributions to-date?
Hi guys,
For various health reasons I am no longer able to work in the same capacity. I've had over ten years of NHS contributions and the attached picture shows the benefits.
I have 34 years left until I can claim my NHS pension but as I will no longer be contributing, what can I expect to receive by the time I can claim it at 68?
It seems so confusing to try and figure it out and I've spoken to two FAs who've basically just sent me the above statement and tried to get me to set up a private pension with their companies.
Anyone had similar experience and know what to expect?
