Nintendo 64 Racing Wheel Not Working

I wanted to do some gaming with my old InterAct V3 racing wheel, but when I plugged it in I couldn't get it to work. The light on the wheel lights up when it's plugged in, and it shows the player 2 icon on screen, but it will not respond to any of my inputs whatsoever. The Nintendo 64 clearly recognizes the controller, but I've tried pressing every button and nothing happens. Has anyone run into this kind of thing before?

Any information you can offer would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Trying to Use Racing Wheel on Duckstation

Hello! I've been trying to play Initial D (PS1) on Duckstation using an old racing wheel controller. I know there are better wheels on the market, but I'm attempting to use an old Nintendo 64 steering wheel (InterAct V3) using a Hyperkin N64 to USB adapter on my Windows 11 gaming laptop. Controller is plugged in and is detected by Duckstation, the adapter is set to PC mode, and the light on the wheel is on, so I know all parts of the setup are functional. But for whatever reason, the game will not respond to my inputs, the controller just doesn't do anything. Not sure if it's important, but it looks like my controller shows up twice on the list of devices. It lists both "SDL-0 Hyperkin N64 Adapter" and "SDL-1 Hyperkin N64 Adapter", and I'm only using one wheel (is this because my adapter has two controller ports?). I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I'm still pretty new to PC emulation, so any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, everyone!

P.S. I had seen a similar post of someone wanting to play Gran Turismo, and they were told to set the controller to NeGcon using automatic button mapping, so I did the same. I have both Dinput and Xinput enabled as well. I don't know if it matters which USB port I use, but I'm using one on the right side of my laptop. Hope that helps!

Which (if any) Initial D Home Console Games Have Local Multiplayer?

Been looking to recreate the arcade experience at home instead of buying a set of arcade cabinets, haha. It doesn't need to be perfect, just serviceable. Been looking online but it's kinda difficult to find info on some of the games (especially since a lot of them never left Japan). I was wondering if anyone here knew which games had local multiplayer (if any).

I also wouldn't mind online multiplayer via emulator. Just trying to find a way to play this with my friends without having access to an arcade cabinet. A home racing wheel is much more accessible.

Thanks in advance for any info you can share! I appreciate it!
