
My Bridge Cast X can not connect with the app
Hi everyone, I need some help.
I recently not long got a mic set up with the bridge Cast X (That I got a while ago but couldn't use it until now.) I got everything together, downloaded the app and v2 driver but it couldn't detect the device. I tried uninstalling the app, restarting my pc, switch usb c ports on my pc (which I got 2) Made sure it was on the pc mode, even switching the power plug three times where it defiantly has power.
I checked the device manger thinking it was the wire but it is there, windows sees the bridge cast x but it has a yellow triangle on it. So I tried to update the driver through the task manager, find the driver file for the bridge cast x but it couldn't find the driver even when directing it to the file where the driver should be at.
I also notice when trying to do a firmware update which I thought it would help but that the version was 0.00 and there is no prompt that there is a mismatch version, even with the device plugged in. When clicking update it says it will update from 0.00 to 0.00.
I feel like I have tried everything but nothing has worked even buying a new plug that is over 5V. Even my pc is powerful enough to handle the bridge cast x. I have a sinking feeling it is a obvious fix but I cannot see it for the life of me and yes it is plugged in to usb port 2 not 1.
