I just built a curated directory for makers. Is anyone interested in grabbing a free listing and a dofollow blog post?

Hey everyone,

I’ve developed Linxalium, a new platform for sharing genuinely useful projects. My main goal is to avoid the usual directory spam—every project is manually reviewed and tested by me before it goes live.

Here is how it works:

  1. Drop a link to your project in the comments below.
  2. I will personally review it. If it looks good, I will list it and shoot you a DM with a secure link to claim your project page.
  3. Once claimed, the first 1,000 founders get a free option to publish a short blog post about your tool, including a regular dofollow link for your SEO.

Launch Bonus: I will personally choose my 5 favorite projects from this thread and pin them in the "Featured" position on the homepage for the entire next month.

I built a healthy food MCP server for my sports diet and connected it to Claude and Codex.

Hello there, I was inspired by one post here, someone asked is there any kind of recipes MCP server. SInce I'm a founder of vectoralix hosted MCP platform, i decide this is a perfect showcase example what my platform can do. So i collected public recipes and wrapped them up in MCP server. THey are grouped by high, moderate and low calorie also assigned to multiple groups, so llm can easily search it. I have tested it for a while and find it really exciting, how dev tech can actually be integrated in different spheres of live.
Would be cool to hear what other non dev tech MCPs can be useful.
If you would like to try it out with claude use mcpb bundle in repo: https://github.com/vectoralix/healthy-food-mcp

2 weeks post-launch: $5/day in ads gets me a 79% bounce rate, but a 6% registration rate. Am I doing well?

Hey everyone,

I’m 2 weeks into launching my SaaS and trying to make sense of my analytics. I'm running a tiny Google Ads campaign ($5/day) that brings in about 25-30 visitors, and doing manual outreach for the rest.

Looking at my dashboard from yesterday:

  • Unique Visitors: 49
  • Bounce Rate: 79.6%
  • Avg. Visit Duration: 5m 31s
  • Registrations: 3

I’m getting mixed signals here. On one hand, an 80% bounce rate hurts to look at. But on the other hand, yesterday gave me a 6.1% visitor-to-registration conversion rate, and the average session duration is over 5 minutes.

If you were looking at these stats for an early-stage project, what would your takeaway be? Is the high bounce rate just part of testing cold ad traffic, or is it a red flag I need to fix immediately given how well the other 20% are converting?

(Link to the landing page is in the comments if you want to take a look!)

Would you use another MCP server directory, or is this already a solved problem?

Hey everyone,

I’m working on Vectoralix, and we’re considering adding a public MCP server directory/listing page where developers could submit their MCP servers and users could discover niche tools more easily.

Before building anything, I wanted to ask the community directly:

Is there actually room for another MCP server directory, or is this already covered well enough by MCP directory, GitHub awesome lists, and similar resources?

A few questions I’d love honest feedback on:

  1. For MCP server developers: Would you submit your server to a newer, lesser-known directory? What would make you trust it enough to do so? For example: GitHub authentication, open-source repo verification, manual review, badges, usage stats, etc.
  2. For MCP users: Do you actively look for new MCP servers, or do you mostly discover them through GitHub, Reddit, docs, and existing directories?
  3. What is missing from current directories? Some ideas we’re considering:
    • Better categorization by use case
    • Verified GitHub/source links
    • User reviews or ratings
    • One-click install/config examples
    • Compatibility info for Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.
    • Hosted/demo MCP server support
    • “Recently updated” and maintenance signals

I’m not trying to pitch something finished here. We’re trying to avoid building a feature nobody actually needs.

Brutal feedback is welcome.
Would you use something like this, submit to it, or ignore it?
