What Pushed You into Passing Territory?

My first ever CPA exam I took a couple months ago, I got a 61 on (FAR). I’ve been re-studying since but work has been very heavy and I’m stuck on trying to refine my study process to help me actually make it into passing territory.

What did you end up doing/changing to help you make it to passing? I know most people recommend drilling practice questions and really knowing why you got a question wrong, but does the method have any effect? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
