Need perspective on getting dumped in a long term relationship 22F
So I , 22F was in a serious relationship with a man who was older than me now 30 since the last 4 years. We both belong to different religions and my family kind of got to know about him within the first one year and warned me to break it off but we continued. I wouldn't say it was the ideal relationship loads of ups and downs were there mostly I was an anxious one and he was a total avoidant somehow we were together. He also has a brother who works in the hospitality industry their age difference is litreally an year , he is kind of the promiscuous one and has multiple girlfriends before he got committed seriously that too in a live in to a girl from a different religion for 3 years. His entire family knew about this girl and they were kind of okay almost about to get married . Last year his brother moved to Nepal and got into an affair with a new girl there. Eventually the fiance got to know and things were chaotic then they broke off the engagement. And he also brought this new girl home apparently his intentions is to marry her ,everybody was shocked but couldnt say anything .when I got to know this i was surprised how quickly the family accepted the new one who was litreally the side chick. Now my guy is getting pressured to be married and he has accepted to be married to whoever according to whatever his parents family find.I tried to talk to him that we can still make this work but he told me he has thought about it and doesn't want me anymore he does not want to marry me. I was pretty devastated since after all these years he is dumping me. At this point I have completely lost it how easy it was for him go.
I am wondering two things here one regarding my guy : does he actually not give a damn about me and just wants to get married with somebody else after all that we both have had ? Is he just going to walk away without any thought about me will he never ever come back ??
And the other about his brother : the man who cheated on his previous engagement and had multiple relationships previously now very quickly introduced this new girl home and mind you he spoils her a lot , has he actually changed for real like reformed or something?
