Does he actually teach well?
I’m thinking of using him to study for my linear algebra classes which are coming up in the fall. I’ve been recommended by some to my friends but I’m kind of weary of it being gimmick unless it’s actually good teaching material.
Edit: I was recommended to this guy by a professor, but I was afraid if the furry was just a gimmick and if I was going to waste my time there. Here’s my verdict:
I feel like a genius watching his videos and I haven’t even taken the class yet. The videos do get the job done since I’m an engineering major so I just like to see the math work out.
However, if you’re looking for rigorous proof based linear algebra, there are materials that are more in depth. I would say that he’s a step up from Ochem tutor though.
3blue1brown helps me see transformations but starmathcat includes practice problems after the explanation in which I thought were really intuitive. I would suggest combining both.
