Looking for the best options outside of writing in a google docs plus some other info
Hi there, so I’m currently working on a book for my children. I’m about halfway through just the writing part and have sort of skipped putting any effort into making sure I’m starting new paragraphs where appropriate, starting a new page in general- that’s sort of stuff. I have a gaggle of children and only get to write when everyone’s in bed and I’m tired too. It’s a flawed system but it’s the only one I have to work with currently 😂 So my questions are this: I’m currently typing in a Google doc and it’s all one long document🙃 I mean I an separating chapters by titling them but that’s it. I started this out for my children only to read aloud to them and now I am playing around with publishing it one day if it’s ever up to snuff. Should I make each chapter its own page? Secondly, should I do this is something different entirely? I’m not tech savvy AT ALL so explain this to me like Im 6. Like change over to an actual word document? Because I noticed I can’t set word spacing on the Google doc, or number pages- none of that. If you’ve read all this you’re a saint. I feel silly asking but am at a point where I need to get this sorted out. I’m incredibly grateful for any advice.
