How do I minimize mosquitoes in the Winds?

Planning a 3 day / 2 night late June trip to Deep Lake in the southern Winds and trying to figure out how bad the mosquitoes actually are going to be.

Current anti-bug strategy is basically:
permethrin, picaridin, headnet, long sleeves/pants, gloves, and trying to camp in exposed windy spots instead of grassy lakeside areas. If you can't tell I really dislike mosquitoes.

For people who know the Winds well, does this setup actually make mosquitoes forgettable, or are there times where they’re still just unavoidable?

This year’s meltout is also super early, so I’m guessing bug season may be shifted earlier too.

Also open to any tips for:

  • good camps around Deep Lake / Temple Peak
  • lower-bug areas within the winds
  • avoiding crowds
  • late June conditions/snow
  • cool areas to explore without glacier travel

Thanks.
