HSSG procedure at St. Luke’s Medical Center - Global City (fully covered by PhilHealth)
Hello! Just want to share here my HSSG experience at St. Lukes BGC, baka lang makatulong to those who are planning to undergo the same procedure.
First, I sent an inquiry sa St. Lukes via this link: https://www.stlukes.com.ph/contact-us
The following day, I received na agad a Viber message from their Women's Healthcare account. They asked for a copy of the Doctor's request and asked me too kelan ang first day ng recent menstruation. Note that this HSSG procedure should be done only within Day 7-10 lang ng cycle, so may timing required.
Once mabigay mo na yung info about your cycle, sila na din yung magbibigay ng available dates for the HSSG procedure, na pasok doon sa Day 7-10 ng cycle mo.
Next, on your appointment date, diretso muna sa billing office sa 1st floor (left side ng elevator) to request for your PhilHealth eligibility form. Yes, the entire procedure ay fully covered ng PhilHealth! Wala akong nilabas na cash at all for this one.
After that, proceed na sa Women's Healthcare office sa 2nd floor for your scheduled appointment.
You are required to be there 30mins before your scheduled appointment. The entire procedure ay kayang matapos ng max 15-20 mins. Note pala na need nakaihi ka talaga bago magsimula, since need na empty bladder before the procedure.
As to the pain, mukhang tama ung nababasa ko dito. Parang 10x siya ng usual dysmenorrhea. Sanay ako sa sakit ng puson every month pero shocks, ibang level yung sakit talaga nito. Talagang mararamdaman mo yung hilab kada nagpapasok ng fluid and air, sharp pain each time. Kaya very grateful na si Dra. ay very maalaga at helpful the entire procedure. Ang lalim ng hinga ko after dahil super thankful at nakaraos.
Nga pala, usually kasama sa prescription ng OB ang antibiotic (to be taken 2 days before procedure) at pain reliever (to be taken 1 hour before procedure). I took Buscopan Venus too (na ipinatuloy ang pagtake every after 6 hours or until mawala yung sakit sa puson).
Within the same day nakuha rin ung printed results (after 3 hours ng procedure nakuha na namin). Though during the ultrasound, nagsasabi na rin naman na si Dra if patent (not blocked) or the other way around.
