$20 a month, gone in one sitting. Got a single prompt in, the AI got me locked in mobile mode and I wasted over half my credits trying to get it to understand I needed it to be a desktop app. Now they want me to wait a full 29 days for more credits? FOR $20 A MONTH??
There's got to be a better way. This is so disappointing and really takes all the energy and enthusiasm out of the project.
I spent an hour, friends _ AN HOUR _ blocking toy haul channels, weird AI generated crud, and brain rot garbage on my stepdaughter's iPad. Subscribing to Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, etc. I gave it back to her and within two minutes it was all back. As if it had never happened. I was so frustrated and felt so defeated.
So- out of pure spite -I made a website that aggregates videos from youtube from only approved channels, no brain rot included.
I wanted to share it because I mean, it's free and there's no ads on it. You don't even make an account or anything. My son really likes it so far (currently trying to figure out how to make it an app for my stepdaughter), so why not? If I can help other parents avoid the obnoxious barf fest, that's gotta be a win.

** It's still a prototype so it'll probably go down sometimes. But I'm one step closer to never hearing the intro to CoCoMelon ever again. Victory will be mine.
