When doing back loop and you turn your work does the back loop move to the “front” because you turned your work as in always put it in one loop on the same side decided is back or do you do it in the farthest away loop again in the following row so that every other row is basically opposite loops?

I’m also curious on how to know when to back loop vs just use both loops. I watch some videos but a lot of what ive been working on so far ive kind of pieced together and used what little im learning to make

Right now I’m making a shirt using a bandanna pattern that I’ve already used to make a shawl with and bikini tops for cups, I’m still not sure exactly what I’m gonna do with the back and i wanna make a skirt using different stitches i know but i kept seeing backloop on videos ive seen and im wondering if i should stitch to trying using backloop and how for everything lower than the waistband since that seems like the common thing i see done

Im making bikini top cups for a top im making in sock yarn with a 2mm hook. Will steaming/blocking this help it lay flat or should i frog it and use a bigger hook or less tension? I feel like my tension has been loose moreso than tight.

Ive only crocheted one shawl before this so i have no idea what im really doing i just love it. I do plan to connect it to a cup you get out of a bathingsuit as well before attaching it to the whole shirt.
