Skyrizi Process
I’m still relatively new to all of this. I’ve had Psoriasis symptoms that kept getting worse for close to a year before finally seeking help. I was diagnosed and prescribed a cream that only seemed to make it worse. I had my next appointment a little while after and my Derm suggested Skyrizi. I don’t go to the doctors often or even need to use my insurance a lot so it seemed like a daunting process. I’ve actually found the whole process relatively simple. You have a dedicated Nurse Ambassador from AbbVie that helps a lot. Many phone calls to insurance, pharmacies, and AbbVie were needed of course but it was worth it. The auto-injectors are $23k per single dose which is unbelievable, but the Skyrizi benefit card should be paying the rest of what insurance isn’t. I hope so at least lol. My first starter dose is scheduled for the 16th and after reading others thoughts on it, I’m really excited to get started. This has affected my life so much for what feels like so long now, any positive progress at all feels like it would be world alerting. I’d love to hear others stories and experiences with Skyrizi! Thank you!
