Why is dirt/sediment collecting past the p trap?
It's the sink in the kids bathroom so not entirely sure they haven't done something. But it wasn't draining, removed the p trap and it was clear, beyond it however was a lot of dirt, in the bend and horizontal section. I can feel some in the down section at the back.
Why would this be accumulating here?
The plumbing for everything upstairs(which this sink is) runs internal in the house, I've got great big box sections in the living room that the pipes run down. There is a problem about the p traps running dry in the sinks and the bath leading to an awful smell, not sure if this is related. Thoughts?
