What could be the best case scenario full disclosure for humanity?

it was pointed out before but recently there's been negativity surrounding the subject of UFO. Theres the usual reddit pessimism whenever this is discussed. Grifters hype up the truth as scary horrible indigestible knowledge that we can't handle(but the insiders can for some reason) and there's always talks of bad scenarios such as soul trap. (also it feels like theres a push toward NHI are malevolent-sentiment in some alien subs) But what if full disclosure happens and it turns out to be best thing to happen to humanity with 0 bad stuff coming from the truth. What kind of knowledge do you think would be the best for humans.

Whats with the fearmongering around the subject of UFO disclosure?

in recent times it feels like there's been a big uptick in "aliens/NHI are evil" and "public can't handle the truth" rhetorics in UFO disclosure discussions. Supposed insiders keep claiming truth is horrible and must be kept hidden. Like Tim Burchett saying people would never sleep if they know about the aliens or claims of UFOs are demonic. That seems to be whole genre of its own in UFO discourse now... aliens being demons.... Seems there's even talks of alien human hybrid program now.

Do you think some of the sea serpent sightings are long-necked seals?

apparently there was a skin of a seal with unusually long neck was found and an illustration of the animal was made in the 1700's.

Whats your craziest theory about the NHI and UFO?

there was a question like this posted in aliens sub(or UFO sub) that apparently got deleted for some reason. anyway one of the comments said maybe Earth is basically like the North Sentinel Island of the galaxy and the NHI are protecting it from stupid space tourists.

Whats your favorite bird cryptid (except thunderbird)?

Washington eagle was seen by ornithologist John James Audubon in the early 19th century but was never seen again. consensus seems to be that it was a misidentified juvenile bald eagle and if it was a real species its probably extinct now.

Anyone read this book?

I haven't seen this book get mentioned in recent discussions of breakway civilization. It apparently connects modern UFO to the mystery airships seen in19th century. Anyone read this? whats your thoughts?

[LES] vibe trumps calcs outside powerscaling context and I ain't taking hypersonic Frieren seriously outside battleboards

you know how they say when in Rome do as Romans do. personally battleboarding is like that.

I follow the powerscaling rules and norms when in battleboards even though I don't agree with a whole bunch of them. Including outerversalism which I think should get revision but guess thats rant for another day. anyway I do normal powerscaling stuff in battleboards like everyone else because if u don't conversation can't happen. but there's a lot of battleboard consensus I wouldn't follow outside powerscaling context.

the biggest example that comes to mind is character's speed. Everyone except straight-up speedsters is massively faster in battleboards than the impression they give in media. These days in battleboards almost everyone is faster than sound at least and one of the latest characters to join the club is Frieren.

I don't buy it really.

the powerscaling rule that allows all this is that travel speed ≠ combat speed.

which is fine but if the gulf between the two is too big then it stretches imagination and the alleged superspeed starts feeling very very very abstract. Basically there's little to no impression of being super fast.

I remember watching that Quicksilver scene in X-Men: Days of Future Past and thinking damn he's fast. Same for Megamind. When I first watched that movie and saw the Metroman scene(u know the one where he's having midlife crisis or something) I thought holy shit he's fast.

when I see Frieren fight scenes(both manga and anime. not like it matters) I never think holy shit she's/he's/they're/its mega fast. well except for that scene in the current arc where an old man one shots Stark. That's the only exception that comes to mind. Aside from that these characters never gave impression of being superultra fast. and yet supposedly Frieren has hypersonic combat/reaction speed.

tbh I'm not sure what exactly the argument is. apparently zoltraak calc and scaling from that bird in the First Class Mage Exam. Dunno.

I'm sure the calc and scaling are reasonable and if I participate in Frieren vs in battleboards where thats the consensus I guess I'll follow it cuz battleboarding is purely for entertainment. But if hypersonic Frieren leaves battleboards I'm gonna have a hard time taking it seriously.

Anyone saw "mundane" cryptids?

years ago on r/AskReddit there was this post asking whats the strangest thing you've ever seen and one guy said they once saw a rabbit the size of a sheep. Its not a very cool encounter and rabbit but big is pretty normal compared to exotic cryptids like Bigfoot or Mokele Mbembe. But I thought its interesting and it ended up as memorable story. Anyone ever seen animals like this?

What if full disclosure disproves materialism?

>Bentov’s cosmic egg portrays the universe as a self-contained, pulsating system. He suggests that the cosmos undergoes rhythmic cycles of expansion and contraction, much like a cosmic heartbeat. This idea aligns loosely with cyclic universe theories in physics, where the universe may expand, contract, and rebirth over vast timescales.

>In Bentov’s view, consciousness is not just a byproduct of the brain but an intrinsic part of this grand oscillation. He envisions human awareness as a frequency within the universe’s larger vibrational field, evolving over successive cycles.

>In this way, the cosmic egg represents both a physical model of the universe and a spiritual metaphor for the interconnected flow of matter, energy, and consciousness.

this idea's been getting discussed here and in UFO/alien subs for a while now but what if its true and the data kept by the US government prove it. What if full disclosure happens and those evidences are released? like how might that impact society

Why is Tartaria suddenly getting popular?

the idea goes that there was some very advanced global civilization called Tartaria that was destroyed by mudflood in18th century or so and was covered up by the guys in power who rewrote history. And all those grand architectures around the world are remnants of this empire. And also this empire had limitless energy tech or something.

I guess its a fun idea and its nice to look at beautiful buildings but it seems to be getting weirdly popular on places like YouTube and TikTok and I dunno what makes it more appealing than standard fringe theories.

Are the Gateway Tapes and DMT basically the same experience?

stories by users of the tapes and dmt(and shrooms) I saw around here seem to sound pretty similar in many parts. Visiting other planes of reality and meeting weird alien entities. Like the mantis-beings. And apparently feeling a sense of oneness? Anyone tried all these at separate times?

Anyone saw clown entities during trips?

in a lot of those stories of shroom/DMT/some other psychedelic trips often the experiencers seem to meet aliens and elves/fairies. And gods from certain religions in some cases. But I haven't seen accounts where they met clown-like entities. Though they apparently exist. Like the Sandown Clown. Anyone saw this type of thing?

Which high strangeness feels the most "authentic"?

not sure if authentic is the right word but can't think of something else atm. There's several different types of weird phenomena/things discussed here. UFO and aliens have been the biggest topic lately but there's also stuff like fairies/djinn and DMT entities and mantids and time travel and super ancient civilization and stuff like that. Feels like there's a lot of skepticism around aliens recently though. Probably cuz of grifters... and disclosure keep not happening. So I wanna see which other topic seems the most real for sub regulars

UFO communities have been talking about catastrophic disclosure for years now especially since David Grusch three years ago. But there doesn't seem to be fixed image of catastrophic disclosure and everyone is talking about different things with different ideas. What I get is a lot of people think of something like forced disclosure by aliens/NHI just showing up before the public. So what do you think catastrophic disclosure would look like and what be its impact?
