Welp, someone tried it and the "software update" worked
Someone tried to steal my sonata last night, ripped out the ignition and everything but it looks like they couldn't get the engine to start. Idk if the "update" kills the electronics, or if everything but the engine turns on because now the car doesn't respond to my key fob, only to the physical key. Has anyone else had their car broken into post recall?
