Just curious to hear how others deal with a high support hand holding the slide stop down.

If I have to choose between a high grip and not having the slide lock on the last round vs low grip with it locking open then I’m going to choose the first option.

But I am curious how others mitigate this issue. I know there are the aftermarket stops that position the lock/release higher up on the slide which I have considered but would like to hear other thoughts. Didn’t know if there are other stops that don’t reposition but are a bit harder to accidentally engage or maybe there’s another good solution.

Any issues with storing loose ammo in doubled up ziplocks with Dry&Dry packets? Would then be put in an ammo can.

I wouldn’t think there would be any issue storing like this but just wanted to make sure there wasn’t some issue with using ziplocks. I would also assume it’s ok to put desiccant in the bags with loose ammo but just wanted to make sure there’s not some sort of chemical reaction / corrosion possibility of having the packets actually in with the ammo as opposed to having boxes with the packets on the outside not actually touching the ammo.

I realize I’m probably being overly cautious but I don’t want to go messing up a few thousand rounds of ammo because there was some issue I was unaware of.

I have an astigmatism but fortunately it’s mild enough that I can still use unmagnified dots.

My question is, has anyone noticed if their astigmatism can be noticeably different for optics of the exact same model.

I’m likely going to be getting an M&P 2.0 cut for a Holosun EPS soon. My question is, should I ask the shop if I can look through a few different EPSs (all the same exact models) to see if my astigmatism is less on one than another or is it not going to make any difference as long as it’s the same model?

I didn’t know if super minor manufacturing variations in one to another could make a noticeable difference or if they are all going to look the same for me.

Want to get a get a dot for my M&P 2.0 45c. However I know that fouling kicking up onto the lens is somewhat of an issue for these pistols due to where the LCI is. I’ve seen mods that Apex makes that seem to fill in the viewing window so crap doesn’t fly out of it and onto the lens. My issue is that I have an older 2.0 and it doesn’t have a raised LCI (see pic) so those mods aren’t an option for me.

I know some people have mentioned shops welding the hole closed but I’m trying to figure out if maybe there are any new products out there that can combat this in a less invasive way.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so how did you fix it.

I got my M&P probably 5 or 6 years ago. Until early this year I had just been doing the occasional static shooting at the range. This year I however have gotten more into dynamic shooting and it wasn’t until recently that I realized the spring (or at least I think it’s a spring issue) in 2 of the 3 stock mags makes it so that the 10th round is really hard to load, and once it is loaded there is basically no give. Due to that I can’t speed reload because those two magazines won’t seat on a closed slide.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so what was your fix? I’m considering swapping out the stock springs with Wolff springs but I don’t want to waist the time and money if it’s not going to fix the issue.

TL, DR: Full M&P 2.0 45 mags won’t seat on closed slide. Will Wolff springs fix? Or is there something else I can do?
